SECTION 1 — ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Welcome to Bolder K9 (“Bolder K9,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, services, communications, and any purchases made through our website or affiliated channels, including but not limited to our online store, email communications, product customization tools, loyalty or ambassador programs, and customer support services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing, browsing, purchasing from, or otherwise using our website or Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and any additional policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Warranty Policy, and any product-specific instructions or safety guidance.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS, PURCHASE FROM, OR USE OUR SERVICES.
These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, users, purchasers, contributors, ambassadors, affiliates, and any other individuals accessing our Services.
We reserve the right to revise, modify, or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
SECTION 2 — ELIGIBILITY, AGE REQUIREMENT, AND AUTHORIZED USE
You represent and warrant that:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater;
- You possess the legal authority and capacity to enter into binding agreements;
- You will use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms;
- Any information provided to us is accurate, current, and complete.
Bolder K9 products are intended for use by responsible adult handlers. Our products are not marketed to or intended for unsupervised use by minors.
You agree not to:
- misuse or attempt to interfere with the website or Services;
- use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes;
- impersonate another person or entity;
- provide false or misleading information;
- upload malicious software, viruses, or code;
- attempt to disrupt website functionality, scrape data, reverse engineer systems, or interfere with security measures.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently refuse service to any individual, account, or purchaser for any lawful reason, including abusive behavior, fraud concerns, suspected misuse of products, harassment of staff, chargeback abuse, or violations of these Terms.
SECTION 3 — PRODUCTS, CUSTOM ORDERS, AND PRODUCT SUITABILITY
Bolder K9 designs and manufactures working dog equipment, pet gear, training accessories, and related products, many of which are made-to-order, customized, assembled by specification, or produced in limited quantities.
No Guarantee of Suitability
You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for determining whether any product is suitable for your dog, use case, handling needs, training environment, physical conditions, behavior profile, or intended purpose.
Bolder K9 makes no representation, guarantee, or warranty that any product is appropriate for:
- any specific breed, temperament, size, or dog behavior;
- behavioral correction;
- aggression prevention;
- bite prevention;
- escape prevention;
- confinement or containment;
- tethering or restraint safety;
- protection against injury or property damage;
- off-leash reliability;
- training success;
- operational, law enforcement, service dog, sport dog, working dog, or pet use.
You assume all responsibility for selecting, fitting, supervising, maintaining, and using products appropriately.
Product Variations and Availability
Because many items are handmade, assembled, customized, or made in limited production runs, products may vary in:
- stitching;
- hardware finish;
- coating appearance;
- color tone;
- dimensions;
- pattern placement;
- engraving or printing;
- cosmetic appearance.
Images, descriptions, mockups, and product photos are for illustrative purposes only and may not perfectly reflect the final item received.
We make commercially reasonable efforts to accurately depict colors; however, color display may vary depending on screens, lighting, materials, dye lots, production batches, coatings, manufacturing tolerances, and photography.
We reserve the right to:
- discontinue products at any time;
- alter designs or materials;
- substitute equivalent hardware or materials where commercially necessary;
- modify specifications;
- limit sales or quantities;
- refuse or cancel orders.
Custom and Made-to-Order Products
Products customized by size, color, hardware selection, engraving, printing, personalization, or customer specifications are considered custom or made-to-order products.
By placing an order, you acknowledge responsibility for verifying:
- measurements;
- color selections;
- hardware selections;
- sizing information;
- customization details;
- compatibility with your intended use.
Orders begin production after placement and may not be cancellable, refundable, or exchangeable except where required by law or expressly stated by Bolder K9.
SECTION 4 — DOG HANDLING, SAFETY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND PRODUCT WARNINGS
DOG OWNERSHIP, TRAINING, HANDLING, TETHERING, RESTRAINT, AND INTERACTION WITH ANIMALS INVOLVE INHERENT RISKS INCLUDING SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, ESCAPE, AGGRESSION, LOSS OF CONTROL, OR DEATH.
By purchasing or using any Bolder K9 product, you expressly acknowledge and accept all risks associated with use.
You understand and agree that:
- Dogs are unpredictable animals;
- Equipment may fail, wear, loosen, break, disengage, become compromised, or be improperly used;
- Improper sizing, poor fit, excessive force, chewing, wear, hardware degradation, misuse, environmental exposure, incorrect attachment, user error, or unsafe handling may result in failure;
- No product can eliminate risk.
NOT SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Bolder K9 products are not certified safety devices and should not be relied upon as life-saving, medical, containment, or protective equipment.
Products are NOT guaranteed to:
- prevent escape;
- prevent pulling;
- prevent aggression;
- prevent bites;
- prevent injury;
- prevent property damage;
- restrain dangerous behavior;
- contain dogs;
- withstand every force scenario;
- function under all environmental or training conditions.
You remain solely responsible for supervising, controlling, restraining, training, and safely handling your dog at all times.
Supervision Requirement
Dogs must always be supervised while using Bolder K9 products.
No product should be left unattended on a dog where entanglement, snagging, chewing, strangulation, injury, escape, or property damage could occur.
Tug Toys, Balls, Firehose Products, and Play Equipment
Tug toys, reward toys, firehose products, ball tugs, training rewards, and similar products:
- are NOT chew-proof;
- are NOT intended for unsupervised chewing;
- may become damaged through use;
- may contain components that become hazardous if destroyed.
Customers must inspect toys before and after use and immediately discontinue use if damaged.
Breakaway Products
Breakaway collars and related products are intended to reduce certain snagging risks but are NOT guaranteed to release in every circumstance or force scenario.
Breakaway function may vary based on:
- fit;
- tension;
- environmental conditions;
- modifications;
- wear;
- attachment method;
- hardware condition;
- dog movement or force.
Improper fit or misuse may prevent release or create unintended hazards.
SECTION 5 — SIZING, FIT, INSPECTION, AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are solely responsible for measuring their dog correctly and selecting appropriate sizing.
Sizing charts are estimates and guidance only.
You acknowledge that:
- dogs vary significantly by breed, build, musculature, coat thickness, age, and behavior;
- measurements may fluctuate over time;
- improper sizing may result in poor fit, failure, discomfort, escape, or injury.
Customers must inspect products before each use and discontinue use if any condition appears unsafe, including:
- fraying;
- tears;
- compromised stitching;
- cracks;
- coating damage;
- hardware wear;
- deformation;
- corrosion;
- chewing damage;
- altered fit;
- compromised attachment points.
Failure to routinely inspect gear constitutes misuse.
Products modified, repaired, altered, sewn, drilled, cut, reinforced, or changed by anyone other than Bolder K9 are used solely at customer risk and immediately void any warranty or claim.
SECTION 6 — ORDERS, PAYMENT, AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, delay, cancel, or modify any order at our sole discretion.
Reasons may include:
- suspected fraud;
- abusive conduct;
- pricing errors;
- inventory limitations;
- suspected reseller activity;
- inaccurate information;
- duplicate orders;
- suspected chargeback abuse;
- unsafe or unreasonable requests.
Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance.
We reserve the right to cancel orders for pricing inaccuracies, listing mistakes, technical errors, product unavailability, or fulfillment concerns.
You agree to provide accurate billing, payment, shipping, and contact information.
Failure to do so may delay or prevent fulfillment.
SECTION 7 — RETURNS, EXCHANGES, MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS, AND WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
Many Bolder K9 products are custom-built, personalized, or made-to-order.
Because items are frequently produced to customer-selected specifications, returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds may be limited or unavailable except as expressly stated in our Refund Policy or where required by law.
Normal wear and tear, misuse, chewing, improper fit, hardware misuse, neglect, environmental damage, abrasion, improper storage, modification, overloading, unsafe tethering, improper supervision, or use outside intended conditions are not defects.
Cosmetic wear does not constitute product failure.
We reserve sole discretion in evaluating warranty-related concerns and may request photographs, videos, product return, inspection, or additional information before making any determination.
SECTION 8 — WEBSITE CONTENT, PRODUCT INFORMATION, AND ACCURACY
We attempt to provide accurate descriptions, specifications, pricing, measurements, images, and product information. However, errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or outdated information may occasionally occur.
